GALLERIA OAK SELF STORAGE

This project consists of an adaptive re-use of a 6-story office building to accommodate a self-storage facility.  The live load on levels 1-6 is to be increased from 50 psf office loading to 125 psf storage loading, necessitating the addition of new steel framing, reinforcement of bar joist floor framing, and new foundations.  The center atrium is to be infilled at each level.  The 2 existing elevators at the atrium will be replaced with 2 service elevators.
