Founded in 2004 by Scott Armstrong and Scott Douglass, the firm of Armstrong-Douglass Structural Engineers provides innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions to architects, private owners and developers, public entities and contractors.  We have completed projects throughout the continental United States, the Caribbean, South America, Africa and the Pacific Rim.  Our home office is in Dallas, TX and we have a branch office in Houston, TX.

We recognize the importance of budgets, schedules and teamwork, and we produce practical design solutions in a timely manner.  Our staff is friendly and responsive, and possesses a high level of creativity and technical expertise that our clients continually rely upon.  Our design experience includes reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, light-gauge steel, tilt-wall, concrete unit masonry, and wood framing.

We began using Building Information Modeling (BIM) during 2007, when we embraced the technology as an essential coordination platform.  In addition to new construction, we are experienced with renovations and adaptive re-use, forensic evaluations and property condition assessments.
