BAPTIST ST. ANTHONY’S HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EXPANSION
Description. This project was a technically complex addition and renovation. The western third of the expansion was supported by an existing below-grade parking garage, which required supplemental columns and footings within the garage. One bay of the existing hospital was demolished to accommodate an overbuild of the new building, which required strengthening of the existing foundation. Additionally, the foundation had to bridge over a below-grade tunnel.
